One more thing....when is Honda going to start making their swing arms black on the 1000's. They do it for the rc 51 but not for the 1000. Just wanted to get that off my mind..thats all. Thanks for listening.

 

FWiW the Euro-spec 1000RRs have black swing-arms

 

I hear ya CBR1000MARINE. I also want the swing are on my 1000RR to be black, so much so I will probably remove it next winter when the weather is bad and get it powder coated.

Here is the thing. Man I would love to have mine black. But I bet its a pain in the *** to take your swing arm off yourself. Looking at it doesnt look to bad, but what looks tricky is the shock and linkage. How much was it to get done. Another thing is, if you get a chip on it from a rock or some debris on the road your going to be pissed....so there are adnvantages and disadvantages.
