I hear great things about the new 1000RR's. I even got to test ride my buddy's black/silver 08 1kRR and it felt good, comfy, light, and powerful.
its also good to hear your wife is very accomodating about buying the bike. thats always a plus. girls who don't like bike or don't like riding can be a turnoff to me.
