ORIGINAL: Slayer1000RR

I have the "No-Cut" Shogun Crash Kit
-- eBay Good Price--

I also got to put them to use! When I crashed pretty hard. My bike hit and flipped kinda hard
as a result. The right side slider bracket bent a little bit. But it did its job well. It slid on both sides for a while

Here is a photo - The Fairing is covered in Fork Oil. I broke the seal on the front right.

I am rebuilding and going to put another set on my bike again!
Have you removed your fairing to see if when the slider bent if it hit the motor? I have seen other ones when they bend they hit the motor and bend a housing. Heres a link: http://www.hooliganbiketech.net/hond...frameindex.htm

Yes I have taken it all apart. The adaptor plate bent alot, but far enough to hit anything on the right side of the motor.
The engine mounting bolts that hold the motor & the frameslider and still perfectly straight. The 04-05's on the left side
the plate rests on the water pump elbow, but not on the 06-07's. As for the left side of my bike it didnt slide much on
that side before it flipped over to the other side.

REMEMBER Framelsiders are designed to help only in a lowside crash, not to protect when you hit a wall and flip the
bike all over the place! So they did there job as good as they could!

Brad at Superbike Supply (check sponsors). Buy the MotivationUSA no cut sliders. They are expensive, but very good and strong.

i like r&g sliders they to are very pricey . what price for your pride and joy. my mate's r&g sliders have saved his zx10 twice now just shows how a small price can save in the long run. strange though how the no cut sliders cost so much more than the standard ones. i could not bring myself to put holes in my spotless 05 blade.
