I don't have them yet either, and I am not sure I can bring myself to chop into my stuff - the very stuff
I am trying to protect.

Saw these in a british mag recently, but haven't found anyone with them yet. No idea if they work or not, but I guess cut-in sliders will be better anyway.

Yep, they are pricey - I am considering buying a set of fairings and chopping into them with regular sliders, and keeping my current fairings in storage should I ever want to resell.

I recently picked up the Shogun no-cut sliders on a suggestion from another forum member. I got them at no cost to me since the dealer threw them in, but I think they go for about $80. Nice quality product with a 1/2" thick aluminum offset bar.

I have the "No-Cut" Shogun Crash Kit
-- eBay Good Price--

I also got to put them to use! When I crashed pretty hard. My bike hit and flipped kinda hard
as a result. The right side slider bracket bent a little bit. But it did its job well. It slid on both sides for a while

Here is a photo - The Fairing is covered in Fork Oil. I broke the seal on the front right.

I am rebuilding and going to put another set on my bike again!

So in your slide did you get any damage to the crank case, engine or clutch cover etc etc ?

The eBay link is the best price for the Shogun Crash Kit - Normally I think is $170 or so...
As for the rigth case I did receive a bit of damage. Either from sliding or when I hit the wall hard
I need to replace 2 bolts and buff the case cover thats all
See Photo
