Im not sure what to make of this post. Im suspecting a troll, so this will be my only post to this. Plus, you sound awefully American in your writing for having a Fireblade. But I guess its possible.

the only way I can see that happening is if you were in the rain or on gravel. top gear and 100 plus mph is not going to spin your rear tire. In fact, in most cases, if your bike has enough power to spin the rear tire, its going to wheelie, not spin the rear tire unless the road surface is bad. And I don't see your bike pulling a wheelie at 100 plus in 6th gear, not even intentially, let alone from just the throttle.

Also, there is no mistaking a rear tire spin. If all you say is true, your clutch is more than likley slipping, or not adjusted correctly.

You are experiencing the clutch spinning... take it back to your shop, the springs in the replacement clutch pack your dealer installed are in backwards.. this has happened to a lot of us, just look at all the posts about the clutch recall... it is common to happen at 8k rpm in any gear...

Question

Okay Thanks 4 the Help, But unfortunately I was curious this Morning...So I had a buddy follow me on his gixxer, well try to follow me...And the Rear tire is definately breaking loose in 5th and 6th....I just dont get it Only if i go 80-100% throttle as soon as it hits 75 to 8k. You can smell burnt tire.
If I go 40-50% throttle she runs all the way to redline no problem

I dont wanna take my bike back to my dealer with 250 miles on it and say uh hey guys this things got too much power can ya fix it.

The dealership claims and it says on my invoice they already did the clutch recall. What a stupid F**king problem to have

Oh yeah sorry If I offended anybody by being an American with a Blade

I would suggest a new tire if you are breaking loose at that speed. Mine used to spin a lot around 60-70 when i got on it but that was with the oem tire.. It is made in china and is crap.. get a new set of rubbers..the dunlop qualifiers you buy aftermarket are great and I have no wheel spin.

My '08 came with OEM Bridgestones. I have never spun the tire. 3rd gear roll-on wheelies are a blast. Lots of full throttle action (except in 1st and 2nd gears) and no wheel spin. Yours gotta have bad tires or slipping clutch.

Maybe shift your weight back a little and let go of the front brake.

Well, considering 8000 rpm is 100mph in 3rd gear it is bullshyte.
