It's cool dude. You have your opinions and I am not going to sit here and virtually bicker with you over the issue. I will say that I am a very safe and cautious driver. Not to say that I am not exempt from driver eror but I am always cautious to avoid it as best I can. I do wear safety gear when I ride and I am taking a safety course in a few weeks. I agree in that many people plunge into a 1000 before they are ready and end up regreting it. However, I thought about it for a year before I bought and I, to this point, do not regret the decision. In the event that I dick it up do to "too much power" I will be the first to admit it. And I do appreaciate your concern to/for the inexperienced.

In regard to the fear coment, that was more of the fear and respect and less of the, I'm shaking in my boots. But take it how you will.

Congrats on the new bike Doug. The 06 is an awesome machine... and one sexy beast as well. You sound like you have a healthy respect for it... Thats good, be gentle with her for a while.....
