Default New tires for the 1000 :) Pilot Power 2ct's

So my brother is in Iraq right now, and I just bought 2 brand new Michelin Pilot Power 2ct's for his bike so it'll be ready to go for him when he gets back in March. The current stock one he has is showing the steel belts in the back, so I decided to just replace both. I'm babysitting his bike for him while he's gone Once I get the new tires i'm going to get them put on, and go get my license, due to the fact my permit expired last year Anyhow, just thought I'd share. These tires are supposed to be really good

I had the 2ct's on my Busa and they were great. I wish I would have had someone hook me up like that when I was deployed. He'll be happy. +1 on the MSF course. Even if you can ride it's a great course to take.

ya i know, i really wouldn't mind taking it...i haven't really looked into it though. do you need your own bike and how long is it. see the only thing is, its like 175 bucks and i can get my license for under 60. and i would really like to save that for my future bike i plan on getting in april (will keep you all updated on it) anyhow, i can't freakin wait...i got both of these tires for 297 bucks. oh and i dunno about the 08's, but the 07's are 190/50/17 on rear and 120/70/17's on front. don't know if they kept it the same, but you can check their website, i'm sure they have it up.

i just got the 2ct's also. i've only put about 300 miles on them, but so far they seem great. a little slippage when they are cold, but they heat up fast here in florida. and i could only find a 180....yuck. even that works well. it's funny how much you notice that extra 10 mm when it's not there.

i run the 2ct's on the street. and a 55 series rear to boot. LOVE them. ill only buy 2ct's for the street, unless i can get the same mileage as the power races i run on the track.

I got mine at www.motoxoutlet.comboth for 297 bucks including the 20 bucks for shipping. Thats the cheapest I've found. Only 160 for the rear and like 112 or so for the front. I'll let you know how fast the shipping is
