Default New '08 now in the stable

I can finally post here with being one of "those guys" that doesn't actually have CBR. My wife decided that I was taking too long to pull the trigger so SHE went down this week and bought it for me as a Christmas present. The original idea was to have it delivered Christmas Eve and hide it until the morning. Shewas so excited that she didn't even make it home before begging me into letting her give it to me early.

Here's the new pony waiting in the dock at the dealer. Picked her up today before the weather went bad - schweeeeeet ride!

Welcome to the club and congrats on the new bike! It must be quite a change from the BMW. If you are looking to add a bit of comfort (and help reduce sliding on hard braking) to the bike, pick up a Honda e-cushion seat:

That is one special lady you have! What a great Christmas present. I have the "e"cushion seat also and it is much better than the stock seat (better grip). Enjoy the bike its a great machine!!!!!

OK guys, you've got me thinking about this e-cushion seat because that stock seat is slicker than snot on a brass doorknob! If I'm not paying attention and basically riding in a crouch it just takes a decent bump to get me sliding forward and 'the boys' are getting a bit too familiar with the back of the tank.
