Its growing on me too. I've always been a "talk softly and carry a big stick" guy when it comes to my rides. I really didn't like the nose and exhaust can when I first saw the bike. But the reviews are all pretty good. One the the review videos (I think in this string) had the reviewer saying that he didn't expect the CBR to beat the other three bikes he tested at the track because nothing specifically jumped out at him. REFINEMENT. BALANCE.That is why I've always liked Honda bikes. My VTX 1800 F wasn't the fastest. etc ina Popular Mechanics comparison test. Thatreviewer said the same thing about refinement, fit, finish and balance.

When this bike starts kicking tail at the track and piling more "win" pages to Honda's resume, the dealers won't be able to keep the bikes on the floor.

I sat on the new 08 at the motorcycle expo. It felt really nice and nimble. I'm not too hot on the new style though. The race plastics make the bike look really good though.
