Performance is great, but I prefer the pointed nose.
Soooooo true.Just like a nose on someones face, if the nose is funky, it messes up everything else. Same can be said for The CBR....

I sat on the 08 at the Atlanta Cycle World show and it felt like it weighed 50 pounds... and from what everyone has said so far its the most incredibly well balanced bike Honda has made in a long long time... If I had the means I would definitely be riding on one in March when they come in the door at the dealership...maybe next year when the used ones come around I may pick one up

The center up exhaust is one of the reasons the pre '08 models are so sexy, not to mention it is the trademark of Honda's flagship superhero. That new exhaust looks like shi... okay great, 175 horsepower. I have an '04 and I can say there is NO need for more. But... if that's what you're looking for than go get this ugly *** bike. I say get an '07 now while there are still some new ones at the dealer. Honda needs to fire that designer... This is a downgrade for us cbr1krr lovers... too different tooquickly.

How is the undertail exhaust hondas trademark? Ducati has been doing it for years not to mention every company besides suzuki had the undertail exhaust on there 1000's. Other than eye candy, the undertail exhaust on the hondas are useless. The reason it works so well on the Duc is because the headers come off the rear of the engine. I mean I have an 04 and like the looks of the undertail somewhat but it has its draw backs on a honda. More LBS, more heat, harder to get a dern undertail lol, stains your tail light, the list could go on. So not really a design miracle. If you could change the nose on the 08 and put that aftermarket exhaust on it, it wouldnt be that bad looking at all.
