Default Need a tool to remove engine> HELP

Hi i have a 2006 honda cbr1000rr. i fell on the bike now i have to fix it. i need a tool that i guess is called a castle socket. its to remove the nut that and bolt that holds the engige. the nut looks just like the one from the swing arm, however smaller. does anyone know where i can buy one. i went to honda already and the castle socket was backorder for 2 month and they never sent it to me. i haven't been able to find anywhere else. psl help. anyone i can call or any web site. tnks

I can try the shop near me if you would like. I had to do the same thing to mine IE replaced everything but the Frame and Forks I called the dealer and they said easiest way to remove them is just act like the are not there and remove the bolt with out it you only really need it to put it back together. I am about to do the same thing for my swing arm. you can also find out if your local dealer will let you front the money and just take it home. they may just make a copy of your liecens and hold the money till you bring it back.

I had the same problem when I wanted to pull the swingarm off my ZX-9. I ended up buying a socket from Autozone and grinding out a castle pattern with a cut-off wheel. It doesn't look pretty, but it worked pretty well. If you've got the time you could try this...
