Default NEED ANSWER PLEASE HELP HID LIGHTS

I had purchased the h7 for my bike and replaced the bulbs and was wondering do i have to buy the whole kit with ballast and everything or can i just swap the bulbs. I am worried becasue i was told you can burn up your wires and other things bu just replacing the bulbs instead of adding the ballast?

If they are HID's they can't work without the ballast, plain and simple. If you have real HID's and the proper ballast then you will be fine, they don't draw more current than normal bulbs.

I cannot answer that..i do not know what it is you actually bought.....but 80 watt bulbs on bike might be kinda harsh.....for the charging system.

where did you buy them?(bike shop or auto parts store?).....ask them....they sell them they should know right?

do the wires get warm??? if they do.....its not right.
