thanks for the replies but i dont really want a busa the r kinda ugly plus a gsx r 1000 beat a busa becasue suzuki techs added 9 more horsepowor the only advangtage a hyabusa is the 1300cc engine with a turbo and it can keep its front wheel on the ground
i like kawasakis dirt bikes becuase i have kx 85 but i dunno about the street bikes but like i said im either getting a yamaha or honda

They're just givin you trbl dude ! No one on this board is gonna suggest you get a liter for you first street bike. Its not that it CAN'T be done, but for most people it isn't a real good idea. 600 or less is a pretty good place to start, and if you thinking that a 600 is too small, you might want to rethink the whole streetbike thing cuz there are very few people in the WORLD that have the skills to outride a decent 600cc bike. Buy whatever you want, but i wouldn't expect a lot of help/advice on this board if you decide to go w/s/thing that big right off the bat. Do yourself a favor and do a few searchs for "first bike" stuff here n see what you find. Like i said, it can be done w/out killing yourself, but the chances of getting hurt on a liter w/little-no prev streetbike exp are WAY higher that if you started on s/thing a little smaller first.

yeah i was just givin u ****e. i would say since ur a lil younger that you should get a 600 to start out cause that lil adrenaline factor on a liter bike def kicks in pretty quick and if ur younger then u r gonna like it a bit to much and may end up hurtin yourself. try an f4i, im thinkin of gettin a used one hopefully this summer and stuntin her out cause i dont feel like tearin up my 1krr anymore after that last lil spill. they are pretty nice bikes and you can do alot wit them to trick them out from what i understand. anyways, b carefull and relax a bit homie cause u still got 2 years b4 you can even get one. just start savin up now

You won't find a 600 slow.

A friend of mine asked the same question...

So I put him on the back of my bike. We rode about for a bit (me to make sure he was comfortable). We stopped and he was ravving about how fast it was. I chuckled. We pulled back onto the empty road for a 3 mile straight stretch posted 55. I hit 55 nice and slow, turned and said hold on. I let her run from there through the next two gears. We stopped and his face had gone white. Absolute shock that it could go that fast. Then I explained I hadn't opened it wide open and we were two up doubling the weight of the bike.

There is nothing you can conceive as being that fast until you have ridden a motorcycle. A car? Not even close.

Put it another way. The bike weights 400lbs or less and puts out 100hp - for a 600cc. The car? Weights in at ~2000-3000lbs and makes from ~140-240hp. Do the math - it's basic physics... the 600 is going to scare the crap out of you.

first bike? I always point at the 250 ninja, the 500s ( gs500, ex500) and sometimes to the sv650 and the F-F2 CBR 600s and the A/B/C ninja 600s... A new 600 is not right for a beginner.

thanks for all the feed back on and i said that i wouldn't slow beacuase i know that i probbly will end up with a 600 nad i will be scared of it and thanks for telling me about the 200's n 250's but thats not what i want i have ridden a 450 dirt bike and i was scared of that but a couple weeks later i rode this guys ktm 520 just in a grassy and let it rip in got up to 4th or 5th gear and wasn't scared it was fun and that i street bike will be hell of alot diffrent that dirtbike anways i have a moped and i know that pavment is not a forgiving surface and i also know that you have be very cautious on the rode because people dont watch out for people on bikes n mopeds 95% of the time and i always wear helmet idont really know what to say like if i get 1000 i proablly wouldn't be a dumbass like most of the kids out ther with no helmets and i would take it slow and thanks for the suggestions and feed back but know still awnsered my question really i asked what bike and i ment out of the bikes i that i listed but i will ask again if i get 1000 which company honda or yamaha and if i get a 600 which company and what year is good and if there are any problems that i should know about with each model
