Default my debachle

Synthetic or not. And if synthetic, should I ween the bike into it, perhaps doing a semi synthetic before transferring to full?? what are your suggestions. thanx in advance.

As long as it's broke in already... just change. Don't use a oil w/ "solid moly", it acts like ballbearings, w/ the clutch plates. You want "soluable molly"... give your chosen oil manf, a call. I use Schaeffer semi... great oil... I live in e. WA... where high temps/ dustand lots of dryland wheat farming... aLOT of farmers, w/ lots of VERY exspensive machinery... swear by it. Scheaffer is right up there w/ Amsoil... but MUCH cheaper!!!! about 3$ a qt less!!!!!!!!! Look on line for specs, and testimonials. I like Napa gold/silver(made by wix) filters... purolators too.

this has been covered a lot

full synth is fine at mile 0.5

amsoil, repsol, hell there are a lot of people using mobil 1 gold cap for cars out there with no problems

but yeah the main thing to look for is no moly

even honda has a full synth out now
