Things that have been done to it:
Puig racing screen with screws,
Comp Werkers Lmt fender kit,
Yosh rs-5,
flash mount turn signals,
integrated signals tail light,
rim tape stickers,
Golden ey HID low beam( could not fit the ballast for the high beam to anywhere,too big)
Things that may be done in the near future:
power commander
mirrors go away/replaced with blue blanks
rear seat cowling
rear sets go away
carbon gas tank cover
carbon brake/clutch levers
Things that have been done to it:

hi sparkie,
i have the same bike just wondering if the yosh system is worth the change out. i had a 2003 600 rr that i changed out to the yosh system loved it but when you nailed the throttle everyone with in a mile could hear you coming not to bad just riding around is it that loud on the 1krr.

Hi hobbs, I really like the sound, and it's louder with deeper tone. Not too loud in my opinion, just what I wanted. I did come to some issues while installing it thought, I had to modify the bracing clamp on the can in two ways. First, I cut the bracket shorter by an inch or so and redrilled the holes for the screw. That way I have my can sitting as high as possible closer to the seat, since it's a carbon the heat is not a real issue. Second, I had to add 2 pieces of kevlair to the top edges, so they don't bite into the carbon(they really were).

Good looking bike Bro,
I just got my 06 1K a few weeks ago, and looking to get flush mount turn signals and a FE. I was wondering what kind you have and how you liked them. Soon after I'll be getting a new tail with turn signals built it.
Oh and one last thing, where did you get your rim tape from? I've found several places on the internet but I'm not sure whats what. I have the sivler and black 1K with red highlights, so I'm thinking maybe red tape. Whatcha think?
Gotta work funding though the wife first. hahaha.
