I learned one thing when I was in the Army : "expect the worse & hope for the best". Your picture brings back lots of memories...LOL

Let me tell you something, do you know who is the #1 bike thief in America? You're not gona believe it............The dealer!!

They are the only ones who know where you live, they have the means to modify & export bikes + they have the key to the bike & maybe to whatever locks you purchase from them. {of course I can't prove it}, but I truly believe it. That is why, I've opened a private mailbox with a suite # instead of a POBOX & changed my address on my drivers' liscence, & utility bills + phone # is unlisted....Let them come & steal it now. Oh by the way, never instal your alarm at the dealer, & specialy lo jack. For that way they will know exactly where the bike is parked. & when they steal it, they'll just disconnect the lo jack & throw it away. By the time the cops find that small piece of electronics, your bike will be in HONDURAS, or SIRILANKA..............LOL

Take it easy.

Guys like you make my job secure (I work in an oil refinery). Your oil's not even close to being worn out with your milage schedule.

Appreciate the input and opinions but comments on someone else's oil and the regularity of which they change it is a taboo topic -- just leads to a pissing contest in the end.

Thank you for your support

And my wife calls me Obsessive Compulsive. Cpldam you take the cake on oil changes and security. I can't believe anyone has the discipline to keep the bike under 10K rpm for so many miles. After 400 miles at which time I did my first oil change I started to red line my bike and have had no problems what so ever. Who knows maybe my engine is .25 horses less powerful because of it? In fact I am about to hit 4000 miles and will do my second oil change using a synthetic when I do. For the life of me I don’t get why people don’t just follow the manufactures recommendations for oil changes. It is to their advantage to be conservative and keep the engine as clean a “practical” for warranty reasons.

Oh yea, here is my weapon of choice. The second pic is a new gun S&W is coming out with that I will be issued by my current employer. Both are chambered in .40 cal.

mininsx, I m glad people like me make your job secure, I have no problem with that. The reason why I make so many oil changes the first 1000 miles = because I know how much garbage will be coming out & NOT because I feel that the oil is bad. After all, this will be officialy my 3 bike. Chainstrtcher is right this happens to be a taboo topic, but I m glad we can all share our opinions. My experience with bikes is to ride them hard, but give them their dues if you want them to last, & since I m not rich enough to buy a new bike every year, I will revv it high, but change oil every 1000-1500 miles. 05tribal, nice Glock. Word of advise, any pistol made with half metal & half polimer will be off balance & sux, including my Walther. Anyway, this is another discussion for another forum. WOlfpack, check out MOSBURG 590.

Chainstretcher, I do not live in the ghetto, but ever wonder how some people buy their bikes & then it is stolen in front of their homes in the next 48-72 hours after purchase..............GOTTA BE THE DEALER!!!!! (but again, I can't prove it)

This has happened near me -- think it was in Alpharetta a couple years back. Big stolen bike ring. Cops finally wised up and caught 'em but not until they'd shipped skads of people's toys overseas. And the ghetto reference was just a joke -- if it's possible I'm prolly a bit more paranoid than you -- well maybe not -- but close anyways

You wanna see paranoid... I have a camera recording my car port 24/7. My bike is chained to a heavy trailer that is chained to my car port.

And here's my arsenal.....

Ok... I'm kidding. The top two are mine. The 2nd collection belongs to a friend and damn, they are fun to shoot. The 5.7 pistol with the laser sight.... uses a shorten M16 round.

And the last two.... I just found and posted to get a WTF.... make you think I'm a gun freak for a few seconds. Made you think for a minute.
