My light used to come on at about ~120, now the last two fill ups the light came on about ~95. I did change the fuel map and have been riding pretty aggressive though. I need to get a custom map to see how better, or worse it gets. I will let you know.

yeah it's outrageously expensive and hard to come by... I have to get it shipped here from Spain on a ship that only runs on Repsol gas... so if it ever runs out of gas I'm completely screwed

I get about 38 MPG and do mosty interstate commuting(75-80mph). I'm running a Power Commander with stock exhaust.

Do you have any mods on your bike at all or is completely stock? If so maybe you need a Power Commander plus a new fuel map.

Did they switch to the gas alcohol mix (10%) many of us run in winter? If so this causes low fuel mileage.

Has it always gotten poor mileage or is this something recent?

Check simple things like air filter, chains lubed and adjusted properly, check air openings for debris or small rodents. Run a can of carb cleaner or fuel injection cleaner through it (Seafoam is a popular choice (I like the Redline SI-1 but they make a motorcycle fuel injector cleaner now).

so my dylithium crystals allow me to get about 140mpg, which is just slightly better than Repsol gas.

Well I backed off on the more aggressive riding, and rode a tank full between ~90-110mph for the entire tank. The low fuel light came on ~120 miles. That's what I used to get when it was new with no mod.
I am running resus's map from 1000rr.net.
