Ok I live in Connecticut. I Just got back from Southern Honda Motor sports in Chattanooga TN. They gave me an out the door price of $9,700 less the CT. state sales tax I will guess that to be $600 now we are up to $10,200 Plus $165 for the cheapest air fair now $10365 Now add $130 for gas on the ride home. $75 for hotel $25 for food $10,995. I saved about $1000 over my local dealer in Manchester CT. Now you must ask was it worth it? The ride was 1000 miles. I could only afford one night in a hotel so if you have a butt made of lard you might make it ok. If you have a skinny *** like me you will feel it. I mean pain. After 600 miles I had to stand up for five minutes every 20 minutes or just stop. It takes 10 stops for gas and you will find you will lay in the soft grass for a half hour before you get circulation back in your azz. I got home and washed the bugs off my helmet and jacket not to mention the bike. The complete ride was 17 hours minus the half hour gas stops with rest the total ride time was about 12 hours at 85 - 100 mph. Anybody who goes north on route 81 from TN. to CT. It is a major trucking route. Wall to Wall 18 wheelers for hundreds and hundreds of miles. Fn dangerous as all hell. Very little speed traps and a whole lot of burning trucks on the right! The road is straight and lifeless until you get to NJ. where the Park way was heaven!

Wow, now there's a guy that's not afraid to do some work to get his bike. That's some serious dedication. I drove to TN from OH to get my bike from So Po a couple of weeks ago and it was about 8 hrs each way. If it had been any more than that I would have just paid extra to buy locally. To ride 17 hrs is just plain hard core. Too bad you had to break the bike in that way. You need an oil change half way home.
