looking for a good deal on 2006 1000RR
trying to make the hard earned cash stretch. any suggestions where to buy an 2006 1000rr at a good price? i live in new york city and would travel a bit for a good deal (conn, pa, nj, ohio etc). heck i'd even go down south and have an excuse to ride the blue ridge parkway. any/all suggestions welcome. last bike yamaha R1. looking forward to the 1000RR. the bike looks awesome and probably performs the same way. thanks to all in advance and safe riding!

Check out Southern Powersports in Chattanooga TN. I bought one from them for $9736 but had to pay sales tax when I got it back to OH. After gas and sale tax I still saved over $1000 compared to the quotes I was getting in OH.

Damn dude, I didn't know you picked up a 1000RR! When did this happen? Where did you go for quotes in Columbus?

I drove down to TN and back on March 2nd. I called Classic Cycle's, now Motorsports of Columbus, and Honda North West. Both quoted me around $10,500 before tax then proceeded to tell me about the additional freight and prep fees after I asked so who knows how much my OTD price would have been. I probably should have called every dealer in OH before driving down to TN but as they say, "time is money" and I knew what I was getting from Southern Powersports.

I just bought my Red/Black 06 1KRR on Long Island, Champion-Honda in Hicksville, for 10K. It was worth it for me to spend the extra $300 instead of driving to Southern Honda in TN. I was all set to make the trip next week to TN because I did not expect a NY dealer to be so competitive. I was soo excited about the price I do not do any haggling. The price was actually $9999 with no other charges. Just pay NY tax and you're are OTD. I take delivery next Tuesday. Good Luck on your search.
