Default Little help

So I am piecing my bike back together after an incident in March.

I have replaced my forks and front wheel that were bent. I just put the bike back together today to take it for a test run.
Everything seems fine, tracks straight and flicks back and forth with ease.

But, when I apply the brakes the triples move back and forth about an 1/8".

Do I have a bad bearing?
Should I replace both the upper and lower triple's?

Donny, Did you check the steering stem nut? You'll need a steering stem socket(pn. 07916-3710100) And torque your 04 to 14lbs then move stem back and forth to seat the bearings, make sure that the stem moves smoothly with out play or binding then loosen adjusting nut. after that re-tighten stem nut to 14lbf ft again. Do this with your front end off the ground. Just put a floor jack under your collector and use your side stand as a brace. It just has to barely off the ground. Hope it helps.

BTW the top bridge steering stem nut torque is 76 lbf ft and the pinch bolts are 17 lbf ft.
