They can be found in various sizes if you look hard enough. My girlfriend has one for her R6 and it's pretty small. I use a pop can. It's rare that you cant find a pop can laying around.

Dennis Kirk has "cycle foots" in their catalog for a buck 99. I've got one for each bike.

You can always buy a plastic coaster (the thing that you set your drinks on when your visiting your grandparents).

Don't get it too small... fresh asphalt and hot summer temps will need a bigger foot print. Nothing worse than finding your scoot laying on it's side because it sunk into the asphalt.

I live in Las Vegas and the temp gets over 110 + degrees. There are days when I have seen bikes parked for a couple of hours to find them laying on there side when the owner returned. Come to find out their kickstand had sunk into the asphalt about 2-3 inches causeing the bike to fall. I have always used coasters. You can buy them in packs of 4 and for no money at all. (salvation army, swap meet) The are easy to store even if you have no room under your seat JUST LIKE THE CBR 1000RR.When all else fails soda cans always does the trick and you find them all over the place.

really a magnet. i thought a cd or coaster may even be too flimsy. so even a flimsy magnet would keep it from soaking in huh? that's cool. as if you couldn't tell this is my 1st bike. thanks for all the help guys.
