How's a Repsol different?

How's a Repsol different?
I just recently joined this forum after test driving a CBR1000 out of sheer coincidence and falling in love with it.
So now I've got my heart set on the bike.
...but after looking around a bit, I came across the Repsol colours and have now found the bike I want for sure.
The Repsol is drop dead gorgeous.
A few questions:
1. Other than colour scheme, how does the Repsol differ from the other CBR bikes of the same displacement?
2. What's a decent price for the '03 '05 '07?
3. Are there things or years I should watch out for when I'm looking to buy a used one?
Thanks again for all your helpful advice.

RE: How's a Repsol different?
Its just the paint like already said.
I must admit, I wasnt feeling the new look of the cbr 1000RRs. but I do like the looks of them in the Repsol scheme. I just cant for the life of me figure out why there is one. Repsol has nothing to celebrate. If they are just gonna start making the bike for the heck of it, whats the point? They made one to celebrate Rossi's championship, then one for Haydens championship. now one for??

RE: How's a Repsol different?
well you are right the Repsol is the bomb, but here is a little info about them. there are no 03 models as the 1000 didnt come out until 04, the 05 model was a tribute to valentino rossi winning the championship on the repsol, and the 07 bike is a tribute to nicky hayden winning the championship. the 09 is just a newer 1000 with the Repsol paint job. It might seem like a better bike, but the previous years repsols were special in that they were tribute bikes and there were only so many made, so if you wanted a collectors bike then those would be the way to go. But you were correct the Repsol bike stands out above all others. ha ha ha.
