shoot, how the heck am I going to get all these HID wires in?:










Had to pull the little clip off the connector and drill slots in the hole I cut for the HID wiring so the connector could fit thru the hole, while not having to drill a larger than necessary hole (making the HID wiring grommet not fit):

 

the reason why I posted that I bought black shrink tape...the white shrink tape looks like ****:





Going to do some minor modding to it while I'm re-working the wiring (didn't like the connectors...going to just hardwire it rather than have quick disconnects), adding black epoxy under the entire audi bar so no light escapes from underneath it (light coming from the halos) like it currently does, and getting the black shrink on it, but this is basically the final product:

 

After some time doing some of that crap, I decided to go ***** to the wall and started doing performance mods

Picked up an Ohlins rear shock, marchesini aluminums, wave rotors, Marzocchi Forks off Toseland's 06 WSBK Ten Kate Bike, Brembo RCS', ignition module and quickshift, 520 kit, stm slave cylinder, scorpio i900, HRC quick throttle with cables, rear caliper relocator with brembo caliper, speigler lines, 08+ calipers, sharkskinz street fairings, bmc filters, gilles TCA-GT chain adjusters, blah blah blah


Bought a full akrapovic exhaust and sent it out to jethot for a jethot 2000 coating in black

Sharkskinz fairings got painted and I fitted them to the bike. Going to post up some pix once I get the graphix cut... Until then, here is a teaser:






Anyway, I'm hoping the curse on the last 1000rr hasn't transferred to this bike. So far, everything has been working out. Still a bit of a work in progress, but I like where it is now.

 

damn ups damaged my new spiegler line on the way to me... arg!

 

 

sold my lemond because i have too many bikes (including Desdemona) and I wanted a Slipper Clutch....lol. Only had 40 miles on it...damn thing was brand new!
