Default hooliganbiketech.net oil change guidelines

Anybody using the Mobil M1-108 oil filter this site reccomends? www.hooliganbiketech.net
He is also suggesting 10W50 weight oil. The HONDA manual lists 10W40 or 30 weight.
Do you think it's best to stick with what the manual states or go with 10W50. I live in
Missouri. Thanks for any input. I've tried to do some research, but with so much information
it gets confusing......

well.... i used 20W50 Motul racing oil once in my 06 1KRR and it ran slugish bit on the roads. But when I really opened her up it was good
But I didnt like the oil because I ride mostly on traffic freeways & side streets. So I went back to the 10W40 and it was great!
Depends on the style of riding you do... but I wouldnt go less than the 10W40

taht filter will fit a 1krr but isn't designed for it meaning honda can void a warranty if there are engine problems as this filter isn't specced for this bike-phil

not sure if the Mobil 1 filter is a suitable replacement
i'd stick with OEM or K&N

actually the Mobil 1 is just as good as stock. some will claim better. but read the test results.

KN, Mobile 1, stock, Puralotor are all decent, dont even bother with any thing from FRAM

contact mobil- that filter is not listed for a cbr1krr- i've seen honda deny an engine claim at my shop because of it
