Honda CBR or Kawasaki ZX 10??
I posted about the handling of the ZX 10 vs the CBR 954....Does anyone think I should trade my 954 for the 2006 ZX 10 (the deal is trade plus $2,000.00). My bike has only 4K miles with akrapovic exhaust GPR stabilizer, Mapped with Power commander and the ZX 10 is all stock and has 3Kmiles. If anyone has an opinion I would appreciate it. I never thought I would ever own a Kawasaki, I 've always had Suzuki or Honda's, but this ZX 10 is WAY FASTER. Let me know.....Thanks!!

RE: Honda CBR or Kawasaki ZX 10??
Really, even thought the 2006 Kawasaki ZX10 was sportbike of the year the last three years according to CYCLE WORLD. The bike is worth way more money, newer......I agree the HONDA CBR is easier to ride and has been the the best or at least the top of its class for years, I figured I was updating into a newer bike for a couple of thousand. You really don't think I should huh??!?!

RE: Honda CBR or Kawasaki ZX 10??
The honda is more rider friendly and forgiving. You can make a mistake on the honda and recover- you can make the same mistake on the Ninja and you will meet the road in a bad way.
The ZX10 has more power, ther is no arguing that fact, but that doesn't really make it the best bike...
Ultimately, go with what you want! They are all great, powerful and fun bikes! But I do have one question for you: HOW MANY THREADS ARE YOU GOING TO POST ABOUT THE ZX-10?

Just to correct you on the Bike of the year for the last three years.
If that is partly what you are basing your decision, it was not Bike of the year for three years. Cycle World had it as bike of the year for one year.
If you look at all the magazine tests to get some feedback on your decision making, you will notice, for the last three years, most all the Magazines that testliterbikes, the GSXR1000 is the winner.( I regret to say that,) but I have all the mags andthe GSXR hasbeen the winner the last couple of years . So if your basing your decision partlyon the Bike of the year award you should be buying a GSXR (I regret to say).
Maybe Honda will win it this year with the 08 CBR1000RR.
Another thing, don't just look at what one magazine writes about a specific bike, look at all the magazines testing them and then see if they are all agreeing to what is good and not so good about specific bikes. You should get a better overview of the bike you are looking at rather than a personal opinion or taste from an editor.
