High miles?
This is my first street bike, and it's new for the moment but i was wondering what's considered high miles for a bike? I know it depends on how you ride it and take care of it,but do sport bikes get 30 or 40,000 miles?

Haha easy...i don't have anything against the Kawi's, but you have to admit that reliability isn't something that they were exactly known for as one of their strong points in the past.

The 1986-2006 Kawasaki Concours very rarely had things wrong with them. You just need to adjust the valves every 6000 miles and if you don't well engine problems arise. Carbs also usually need cleaning if you store it for any time. The Cam chain adjuster is probably the noisiest on the planet too. The bike definately sounded like it ran on diesel fuel.
BUT
Many of those bikes are going over 100000 miles and some have gone over 200000 miles. It depends on YOU keeping the service intervals up and maintaining your bike. It is more important than on a car because you usually don't park your car every winter for storage and the engines in most normal cars are not as high performance oriented. Although some of the smaller engines are getting up there.
