04 1krr only stranded me once. stator fried 20 miles from home. so do your research. but i wouldn't trade my 1krr for verry many bikes.

I finally saw the 08's in person and have to admit I liked it a TON more in person than all the photos we've been seeing.

As for the switch from the 600 to the liter. I've been contemplating this as well for months. I'd LOVE to move on to an 07 Respol!!! One question I had for all of you with the two bike experience is if the 1krr would handle better in the twisites than a 05f4i. I know that my bike is less weight and so on but since the riding ergo's, pegs, etc. are more aggressive, is it easier (or give you more confidence) of getting more lean out of the 1krr? Very insteresting in everyone's feedback on this point!

my 04 1krr handles just as smooth, just as flicable and FEELS just as light as my 04 600rr did. I tell you what though. when i went from pereli diablo's to michelin pilot powers i noticed a huge difference in cornering. the pilot powers want to dive into a corner which feels weird. the pereli's were a bit smoother in transition. both excelent tires.
