Default help me out here.....

ok im looking to get a new bike in a couple months, upgrading from my 99 600f4 to probably a literbike. I really like the way the 07 cbr 1000rr looks but i wanted to get someones opinion that has one. I guess im just really asking if its nice and reliable, fun to ride, good sound, comfortable and fast compared to a new 600rr, any help is appreciated, thanks JR

Fast is only a frame of mind. The 600rr is FAST... the 1000RR is OUT OF THIS WORLD F**KING FAST. Which will serve you better? The bike that leans easy, weighs less, and is smaller, or the bike that is approx 1 sec faster in the quarter than the 600. In all honesty, you don't need the power of a 1000 because a 600 will get you into trouble just as quick... the 1000 will get you into trouble while ripping the front wheel off the ground. Don't listen to testosterone on this one.

They're both Hondas and as long as you take care of them they'll take care of you. They are both sport bikes and are not comfortable for long rides. If you want a bit more comfort, get a sport tourer. They're both inline engines that wind out pretty far and thus produce a formula 1 sound. If you want something more throaty, go with an RC51.

What do you really want. The 1k has so much power and also stable. If you want to jump from 600 to 1k and your skills are good then go for it. I love my 07 1k Repsol so much.Really! The difference in power is so huge. I rented a 600 on a vacation after I had a 1k. Large difference. All the way around the tach. The 600 will still get the job done good or bad. The 1k WILL DO IT AT A MUCH FASTER PACE! Get used to it and have fun be smart.

my 1000rr is sick. hella powerful when ur really bored. when you get on a litre bike you know why the 600s are not enough. watch out the 2008 looks like crap.
