Hard Launches- bog down
Perhaps I am still learning the engagement zone but I tried a aggressive launch yesterday from the light. I think I got a little too greedy and felt the front come up. Instinct caused me to shut the gas and grab the clutch, feathering it. Instead it nearly stalled. Embarrassing.
Shame on me for not giving it a thorough new ownership TLC as the clutch fluid looks pretty yucky in the reservoir. I'm hoping that will give me the finer control I expect from a hydraulic clutch system. I also notice was sounds like a little backspin on occasional non-aggressive downshifts.
Overall the clutch engages solidly and doesn't seem it's in need of replacement.
It doesn't seem to want to reach for the sky in any gear when going, even WOT but I'm also a roller vs slammer.
