Got my Decals on 2007 Repsol!! (pics)
Hey Guys, new post. I got pics of my decal placement on my new 07 Repsol!
And the Honda Website photo for comparison....
I think I got 'em pretty close. Decal application wasn't as bad due to the thickness of the stickers. I think I got some good advice from reading another section of this forum about soapy water. I also found that a microfiber towel worked better than a squeegy.
Cheers!

Thanks!
I love these bikes! I had an 05 Repsol that I babied and traded in on this 07! The improvements made to the 1000RR in 06 really shine through! Can't wait to get through break-in and crank it in the twisties, but for now I'll be satisfied just looking at her!
On a side note, my 05 Repsol was in perfect shape with only 2k miles on the clocks, and the Shawnee, OK Honda did a pretty good deal on trade. They looked at me funny when they found outI was trading one Repsol in on another! I don't think they were aware of the weight difference, HP, etc.. from the changes in 2006, but this bike has the best of both worlds, and IMHO - matches the 2006 winning GP bike more exactly than the previous offering (not to knock the 05 guys, cause that bike is awesome!)
Now I need to find a fender elim. kit and some other goodies....

If you're referring to the orange outline Repsol, it goes on the gas tank facing forward, not rearward as in the 05 sticker.
That's the only Repsol decal in the kit, all of the rest are the other sponsors.
The lower left side cowl are the hardest, because there's no room compared to the 05 model.

Hey, new guy here, first post.I picked up my 2007 Repsol last night. Sweet ride!! Just wondering, the lower decals weren't on the bike, did you put your decals on because the dealer neglected to do itor do they leave them off so the owner can decide whether he wants them? The dealer didn't seem to know if the setup guys were supposed to install them or not. I know exactly where they should be placed. I was surfin the we and found a Honda web site with a 25 page PDF file labeled:
2007 CBR1000RR REPSOL EDITION SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS
It showed everything the prep guys ares supposed to do in setting up the bike and the exact placement of the lower decals inmilimeters.
Looks like a fun site.
