Yeah I got my leftover 07 in early April for $9100. I fricking love the thing. I've spend time on the 08 1000 also, definitely a different beast. I prefer the looks and instant torque of the 07 though. Go down a notch on the forks and your handling will be close to the same also.

Hey guys,
Let me start off by saying thanks for the info, it helped me get a better picture of what was going on. So this is the last offer i got from the dealer. 10,500 out the door, final price, the price includes taxes and documentation.
Using 8.75 sales tax that breaks the base cost of the bike at 9600 ish + the 8.75 tax + documentation = 10,500 (or so abouts)
Does everything sound legit to you guys?

Again thanks guys for all your help and hopefully if this is a good deal then by the end of the weekend or so i will be the proud owner of a brand new 07cbr1000. Either way this board has been extremely helpful and plan on sticking around as a member for a long long time.

Sounds like you got them lower. Have you searched around any other places for a better price?

hey,

So i've looked around LA and San Diego (i live in SD but drive back up to LA almost every weekend.) and this is the only place i've found close enough to me that has the new 07's in stock.
If you know of any other places that might carry the same bike i would love to check them out and see what they have to offer.

That might just be the prices out there. I went back through my paperwork, and got mine for just over 9700 out the door...but thats in Ohio. I was thinking that Cali was typically more expensive then the Eastern Side.

I got my 06 CBR1000RR for $5500.00 with 4500 miles on it. Came with exhaust, and vented solo seat cover. Blue/Yellow color.
Flawless bike. But guy needed money bad. So I took it.
That was in FL.

I bought my 07 1000rr about a month ago for 9300 OTD!!!! This was in northern Cali

Brand spankin new.... Just gotta look around. I think 9300 OTD is about best you are going to find tho for new. I paid what dealer paid. He just wanted to move it off show room floor. I got lucky. He advertised in Cycle Trader, I called like that day, then more or less spent next couple days buying it over the phone between dealer and mybank .
