Default Front View Of The New 08 CBR1000RR

Don't know if this is the actual front of the new 08CBR1000RR, but here is more spectulation to go buy until Friday the 28th,the official release date.

We have two more days to see if this is really it. Just thought you guys and gals want something else to talk and speculate about.

Here is the quote that came with the Picture.................................

All right, so the speculation has come to an end - what you see here isn't some computer-generated rendering, but the real deal, the brand-new, 2008 Honda CBR1000RR. Technical details are not available at this time, but as is evident from the photograph, the new CBR1000RR (it actually doesn't say 'Fireblade' anywhere on the bike...!) has been heavily restyled - the fairing is all new as is the MotoGP-inspired rear end and the stubby exhaust system. The chassis and swingarm also seem to be new, the turn-signals have been integrated into the rear-view mirrors, and the bike seems to have been given GSX-R/R1-style air-intakes next to the headlamps. Power output is likely to be in excess of 170bhp. Stay tuned for more details and pics.

Looks better from the front than it does from the side anyway, lol.

The more I look at it, it kind of looks more like a sport touring bike from the front or something lol.

You're right. It looks sissified. Why couldn't they have changed the 600rr design around a little and made that the basis for the 1000? That would have been an excellent design.

If the bike turns out looking like all the pictures floating around, then Honda really ****ed up . . .

It looks a lot like the Ducati 1098's little brother, just a bit uglier. But, hey.. everyone thought the 2007-8 zx6r would be ugly when they saw the front profile and it turned out to be one badass looking bike as long as you don't look at it DIRECTLY in front . Honda's streetbike line has been kickass over the years, I get more impressed the more I read. They know what they're doing, I'd trust it'll be good.

Oh, but if it DOES look like the photoshops I've seen, with the tiny MotoGP tail like the ZX10R08 and the exhaust just like Yamaha's YZFr608, I would be REALLY let down..

Just to add a 'darker side'
