I installed HB fluch mount LEDs, They look great, however, They cannot really be seen head on. So I bought flexible LED strips and wired them up to my blinkers. I used double stick tape to fasten them to the plastic on each side of the radiator facing north so they can be seen from the front. The picture suggests the LEDs arent too bright, the LEDs are brighter in "real life".

I will probably drill and fasten them better later on, I just hate the thought of taking a drill bit to a 2006 CBR1000 that has 236 miles on it!

here is a pic...any suggestions or comments?

I installed the Hotboddies myself. Used the spacers on the outside to bring the blinkers closer to the outside, almost flush. You can see them from the front, but not overly visible except at night. Like the idea of the LED strips on the front. Can you post some close ups?

Also replaced the flasher relay with a Motrax, you can buy for $20 at Cycle Gear. Easy install, swap the old for the new, located on the left side, middle fairing.

I used double stick tape cuz i didnt want it permanent yet. I'm not sure if I like it, I think Im gonna move them down to where the fairing isnt curved. If I like it, ill drill a hole for the wires instead of pinching the wires between the 2 plastic pieces.

Nice find there! Are you going to cut your fairings, or do they come with brackets? I heard cutting was kinda the way to go for strength, whereas the brackets could hurt your bike in a slide....
