RE: A few pics of my new 08 RR
What bike did you ride before?
-------------------------------------------
I currently ride a VFR800, a heavily prepped Roadstar Warrior, somedirt bikes, etc. I previously owned two CBR900RRs and rode my buddies 05 R1 quite a bit. Obviously, the bike is far more powerful than the 900RR, and it seems to have a much broader range of power than the R1.
But the difference in this motorcycle compared to other open bikes I've ridden is the precision and smoothness. The bike allows you to quickly find and hold a line, high speed or low speed, with very neutral steering and a level of stability I havent seen for a bike this agile. And it is very agile for an open bike. Its been a while (15 years) since I roadraced, but I got this bike specifically to get back on the track for track days. If thats what you are considering the bike for, I doubt you'll be disappointed. It really does seem to be that good based on my limited riding in the twisties so far.
