Default Fendereliminators.net

Hi all. I have an '06 1000rr and was curious if anyone has installed one of these eliminator kits (http://www.fendereliminators.net/759568.html ) on their ride. It's either this one or the ss kit from Competion Werkes. Looking for details on installation, functionallity, and of course, looks! Thanks in advance!!

They clean up your ride pretty nice, but the $139 sticker is kinda steep IMHO.

That was another thing. The Competion werkes kit is 159 bucks as opposed to the 139 for the SS kit. If the ease of install and quality is about the same then I'd have to lean toward the cheaper kit.

That's a nice site - and a clean looking setup too.

What bike do you have?? I have an 05 1000 and want the LTD kit from CompWerks but they said it would only fit the 06?? The one they have for the 04-05 is not very clean and has ministalks mounted out on a big bar....I have a Integrated taillight and only need the bracket..

I have also been looking at various undertail kits. The one posted in the link above does not look legal to me, as the blinkers are very small.

I am leaning towards other kits that utilize larger size blinkers (not as big as stock, but not as small as the ones in the link) so as not to avoid getting pulled over - it's bad enough the attention you get on a sport bike, not need to invite more

Has anyone running these kits with small turn signals been pulled over?

I just bought an eliminator bracket from RR Cycles off Ebay for $29.99 + shipping total of $38.99. I was surprised at the excellant quality of the bracket. It has a very thick satin black finish but very light weight also. They also sell them with various short stalks for $45 + shipping. I am using a license plate frame from Cycle Gear that has integrated turn signals that I paid about $29 for so I spent around $67.00 total for my set up and it looks very clean. Picture posted.

Comp wreks is the best looking and easy to install, this is the way to go. A bit pricy but it's worth every penny.
