EGCV?

Default EGCV?

Sorry to keep buggin' but im trying to install an aftermarket exhaust and need to know what you guys are doing with your EGCV? Can i simply remove the whole mechanism?

I removed mine. Took a bit of time but its out. No ugly cable ties or leaving it there. I was able to keep it intact for just in case purposes.

After doing some research, i read that your check engine light comes on after removing the EGVC. Is there any way around that?

Mark the location with a paint pen. Twist to remove each cable. Turn it back to where you marked. I did this, no CEL.
