I got mesh showing on me rear tire, got a new set of Pirelli Diablos going on next week, so I haven riddin it yet. I rode with a guy (05' CBR 1000RR) who had a set of Rothman Plastics purchased from the same Ebayer (auctmarts1). He had a melting issue the frst week and quickly applied heat tape. Once the tape had been applied, his melting issues ceased. I met him a year after he put the plastics on and they looked great. I put sixty feet (60') of 1500 degreereflective heat tape on the entire inners of the mids and lowers. The true test will be that which comes with time, wheelies, high speed runs, Florida Summers, ect.

I got 5000 miles out of them. I was surprised at their longevity, so I went and bought another pair
