Default dyno jerk

Just had my new 07 1000rr put on the dyno, basic run down, 150HP at the wheel, 148mph in 4th gear. The guy running the dyno expected more. I thought the numbers were good. Who's crazy me or him??? Bike is bone stock and i love it but the guy at the shop was talking alot crap about how he thought it should be better?????? Does anyone know top speed???

The top speed sounds low, since my 05 600RR showed 160 mph at 109hp. I have the dyno sheet posted here somewhere if you'd like to see. I think they claim around 163 hp on your bike. Sounds like his dyno is off a little or he did something wrong.

Anyways, went ahead and looked up the sheet for you. You can see the max power at 109.23 and speed looks to be 161:

seems consistent with what i have seen in the bike mags. the 06-07 1krr goes about 150-154 in all the shootouts i have read online or in bike mags. i have a sport rider from last yearwith a 5 way shoot out, and they tested the 07 at 154.8 at the wheel. i am going to get mine done when the snow melts all i have is a m4 slip-on. i want to see what the sniffer says for air fuel mixture. to see if i need a power commander or not. i know it helps performance, but i am not worried about out right power just want to make sure i am not to lean.

make sure dyno operator pinches off pair mod hose or the air fuel #'s will leaner than it really is

He also said the sniffer kept coming out because of the stock muffler any ideas to help it stay in if i try again, I am not paying for the runs so its no big deal but i want the fullest details i can get. This is the guys first dyno machine so there is alot of room for error.
