Debating on 675 or 1000RR
hey fellas,
I got a few questions, Im interested in two bikes for the same price of 8999. For both the red 675 or blk 061000RR Brand new. the CBR is at a great deal now since 07's are out and its winter, but I havnt ridden in four years. I had a bike license from 16 to 23, owned/rode/rain or shine/ an 87FZ600 and a 97CBRF3. Taken DP racing @ sears point raceway when i was 17..... Put about 60k miles total on both bikes. My question is.... is it too much of a gap to jump straight to a CBR1000RR. Or should I just play it safe and get the 675 or wait for the 07600. I know eventually the speed of the 600s will bore me out and will my riding skills should come back up to speed. Im just trying to be a bit cautious. Or u guys think I will be just fine. Thanx

RE: Debating on 675 or 1000RR
$9000 bucks for a brand new 1000RR is one HELL of deal, I would jump on it before someone else does. Good luck. (also, you've ridden motorcycles before, so you shouldn't have any problem adjusting to the sportbike, but I would retake the MSF course again as a refresher, then practice on the 1000 for a while until you get comfortable on it. That's a lot of bike, so just be careful and respect it's authorita!
