wow great news.. i kinda thought Honda was gonna take the crown this yr anyway especially with the new designed bike.. Suzuki held it for quite awhile....

i also read that zx10 is suppose to be something wickedly fats but ergos arent to good..

HUH ya know i never noticed before, my 954 is awsome lol. Factory specs compared to the 08 1krr, 954 is 10lbs lighter, only makes 6hp less, only 2 lbs less torque, and runs the 1/4 mile .1 faster. OH and its not ugly

Same day, same dyno, same mods....a 954 will have muchmore than only a 6hp difference. I'm thinking more like 15+.

First point weight, check your numbers, the 954 is the lightest liter bike Honda has ever produced, point me

2nd point hp and tq, i had no problems dynoing 154hp and 78lbs or tq with a slip on and filter, granted thats not truly stock, but its right there with the 1k numbers in america. Look around the net, most of the 954 tests are right where mine are. Now i know the 1k will make more power, and in europe they are making 170's, but thats not here. So i will give ya a toss up.

3rd point 1/4 mile time, again its cataloged all over on tests and reviews, need links?

4th point ugly, personal preference, although i know they redid the 08 1k nose in the wind tunnel and its a great design to be fast. But i put up a poll for the hell of it, we shall see what the people think

 

LIke I said...same dyno same day. If the dyno you were on gave you those numbers, it would give an 08 170rwhp stock!
