I know what you are saying about bikes being good for therapy, I was in my accident in may and not allowed to go back to work until december so after I got out of the hospital I bought my bike back from the insurance company and then starting rebuilding my baby, I am almost finished (due to not being released to work until december the money has been hard to come up with) but once it is done im going to do a trip up the west coast and back down to central california, and once I am back im going to rip my bike apart gently and powder coat it and the wheels. where abouts are you located at?

And just for ****s and giggles I'll weigh in real quick.
1st ... I like the build so far and want to see more pics of the progress.
2nd ... there will be no more of this kind of ****. If you have a problem with someone at another forum keep it over there. You will not be welcome here if I see another name calling post.

As for the bike... I would never buy anything from a guy who painted the rear sprocket. I'm not a huge fan of the colors and I really don't trust anyone to dismantle a bike andreassemble it correctly unless that person is me

thank you for your opinion and your input ...
1- what you missed was someone coming in to this forum/thread and making un founded accusations and cursing ... hence has sence been deleted.... so thats what you missed
2- its not painted... i would not waste time and effort on paint .. its powdercoating.. BIG difference... PC lasts ... paint does not .. so its about durability
3- as far as not buying anything from someone that was not 'you' ... well not sure how you would like me to reply to that ... i have taken apart 30+ cbr1000rr's and can do it inmy sleep .. its to the point .. takes me about 3 hours TOTAL to strip a bike fully ..!! and so long as everything i need is there i can have the COMPLETE bike back together in about 3 hours as well .. running ready to go ..
but thank you for your input .. everyone is open to their opinions and considerations.. and yours is no exception ..
ride safe ... and have a wonderful new year !!
