Glad you made it through the wreck. How did you come through it? Bikes can be relaced.
I lowsided my 08 (all my fault) last spring and I was amazed how inexpensive the repairs were with OEM parts. Lower, mirror, shift lever, rod, bar end and clutch lever. Cost was basically equal to my deductable for insurance so I paid out of pocket for the repair.

kbb value on trade in is $5010. The kbb retail value is $7260. I think insurance goes by the retail value, taking mileage and accessories into consideration.

Dunno tho

if this is your first bike, and im guessing your brothers first bike, Maybe it wasnt such a good idea to buy a liter bike, they are for seasoned riders, and are nuthing but dangerous in the hands of someone with no experience.

Statistic

Glad your ok, and thanks to another rookie rider there are more cheap used parts out there!!!!!! Hey you gotta look at the good!!

it was MY first one. i learned to ride with all of my bro's bikes. got tired of his, so got one of my own. i rode into the grass where a road USED to be. didnt know it changed. was dark, not going TOO fast, but was too late for correction. it was a simple spill, but my twin was beside and behind me. as soon as i hit the ground, he ran into the other side of my bike, doing the bulk of the damage. i dont do track, but know how to ride. if i didnt, i would'nt have survide. all i got was a tiny bruse. bro got a sore knee. insurance gave me $ 9,062. gave my twin $ 5,082 (and got to keep bike) looking for a new 09 repsol. I WILL RIDE AGAIN
