Thanks for putting up some pic. I crashed my 06 a few months ago & I am rebuilding it. I have to spend a bunch of money to
replace all the Fairings. So I was think of getting a cage just so if something happens again it wont do as much damage! I think

I just started stunting...I know a 1000rr probably isn't the bike to start stunting on but I figured if I can stunta 1000RR I can probably stunt anything. As for it being better frame sliders, definitely. My bike went down at 45MPH and slid for a good block and all I needed was an upper fairing and a tail...I was hurt more than the bike...mind you I wasn't stunting when I went down, I got hit by someone that was riding with me. A cage is definitely the way to go...unless you're carving the canyons than I definitely would not recommend it.
