they went with the silver frame and swingarm because that is what the rc211v has. and, of course, that's the bike that the repsol 1000rr is modeled after. plus i think it was a good idea. too many dealers throwing repsol plastics on "regular" 1000rr's back in 05 and selling them to people as factory repsols. all changes that make it different are a good thing.

In the UK we are not getting the Repsol version but will have a HRC coloured bike, hopefully the picture is aattached. The clours is mainly whicte, dark blue, red and gold. This is the one I would buy - if only the lottery numbers come up!!

I'm liking that tri-color one. Looks nice. Wish we were getting one here in the states.

And I didn't notice that the Repsol version had a silver frame, looks great on it.
