CBR1000RR or CBR954RR ?
This may be a silly quesiton giving i have posted it in the 1000RR section
But i am looking at getting my first ever sportsbike after riding just under 4 years and being 46 years old.... i like the 954 because it feels so small and light but i also like the idea of a non cable clutch and a few other goodies on the newer bike. Which would be the best to ride to work on ? Use every day in all the usual places, make modifications too (comfort ones, ie seat, heli bars etc). To turn it into the most road friendly, aka soft and comfy, sports bike out there.
Oh and i understand that the RR5 is different to the RR6 ? I don't think my funds can stretch to the RR6 so are the differences really major ? And which one would be the nicest to ride.... comfort again

I currently own a 2006 cbr 1000rr..I love my machine..stay away from 05 versions had a few issues but nothing that cant be fixed..first i bought me a corbin seat for my machine for comfort..very pricey seat but well worth it in the long run..If you happen to look into the 06 model you will not be dissapointed..06 Blue/Yellow the way to go..

How about the '93 900rr?
After a while on the bike though, I have to use one hand to let my back and neck rest a bit.
So you know what happened?
I learned to ride one handed....and can take turns one handed. It forced me to improve my balance and control of the bike.
I do NOT recommend this at all though!
But it's funny how things work out.
