Don't know where peeps get the idea that the 10 is the end-all shiz-nit. It was tremendously over hyped when it came out. Lot of the motojournalists have stepped back from all the BS they spouted when it was introduced. Why? Cause head to head on the track with competent riders the 10 is just one of four very fast liter bikes. If ever a cliche` was appropriate it'd be "you can't go wrong". R1, ZX10, GSXR or the 1000RR -- all damn fine bikes. Comes down to rider competence in any competition between them.
Backing down is not an option!

I agree with Repsol. I think the street race with the CBR1000 is all in the holeshot. Our bikes are much smoother out the hole. If we can get a jump, we are not getting chased down. I have not raced a ZX-10, but the '05 GSXR1000 is supposed to be the new king and I have won against that bike
