Not sure what the problem is, but if you just got it 4 mos. ago, new, from the dealer, it's under warranty

If you just got the bike 4 months ago I agree with the others. It should be under warranty still, plus I would call honda customer service and start bitching. If you wheel and deal with them saying service sucks..you know things in that nature you can score some things. But take it back and have it look at. Especially if you just got it. Thank god for the extended warranty.

Hmmm talk to the service dudes and get a feel on how they are. Yeah that can impose a problem with having aftermarket exhaust. Some dealers will get all butt sore but some will not. So you might have to feel them out and see how they are. I know out here in southern california they are pretty cool about it. Did you put the exhaust on yourself? If so I know it can be a pain the *** but if you have to just put the stock can back on so it can get looked at. Thats why I kept my stock exhaust and exhaust valve for situations like that. Hope everything works out for you man

Take care and Semper Fi

Take the bike back to any dealer that is an authorised honda agent they are under contract to sort your bike as a warranty job evevn if the bike was bought from another dealer in another country ,honda are renouned to be really good for warranty claims ..

Just happened to a friend. The dealer replaced the battery then figured out the armature in the alternator went out. His bike is only 10 months old. All fixed under warranty.

You put in a new battery and it still didn't act right? Even if it was the charging system it should run fine on just battery until the battery runs outta juice. Sounds like you may have something loose.
