Default carb synchronizer question

This might be a stupid question but I was wonderin before I buy the PC III if its possible to synchrinize the carbs on my cbr 1k.
its a 2004 so its fuel injected.
Can I do this with a synchronizer?
do I need anything besides the synchronizer itself?
look foward to your answers. thanks in advance

Uh...you've got fuel injection, therefore there are no carbs. A PCIII has nothing to do with carbs.

Even thou its a Fuel Injection..CBR 1K can still synchronise its FI system. Had mind synchronised earlier this year..The FI synchroniser looks like the carb synchroniser, doing exactly the same thing. Makes sure all cylinders fire equally.. Hope this helps. But I was told by my mechanic to leave the FI alone(servicing inc) until your bike starts to behave erratically..then only its time to react.

+1

I have the Morgan CarbTune II and did both of my GSXR's and will do my CBR when it has a few more miles on it.

What it does is make sure all throttle bodies are flowing at the same rate. Very easy to do, takes just a few minutes.

I have done my FJR also, and it was a piece of cake.

At How many miles should you synchronize the FI system?
did you need to take the tank out and feed it in a difffrent way?

Its best to leave it alone...dun have to remove the tank literally..juz lift it up.

Sign and symptons when you need to synchronise :
1) When you move off..the bike feels lack of power(bobbling and vibrating)
2) Idling erratically..(needle move up and down significantly) minor ups and downs are normal
3) Lost of acceleration(start and go) and unable to achieve maximum hp on the top end.

This wat was told to me by my trusted mechanic..Also avoid servicing your FI. Only when the above symptoms occur will you react. All this symptoms can also be attributed by other factors..so get a qualified mechanic to check.

If you have any wrench skills at all you can synch the throttle bodies. An ordinary carb synch tool will work just fine -- I prefer the ones with dial gauges instead of the mercury but either is fine. Then just follow the directions in the service manual.

For the most part synching up the TBs makes low end things better: idle, starting and puttin around at 8mph. If your TBs are off so much that it affects higher rpms then usually the bike won't idle at all. I've never had one off that bad.

Not really a need to do it for just a PCIII -- if you do anything that affects air flow: slip-on, race filter, full system, etc -- and it starts idling crappy then I'd suggest synching everything up.

thanks for the info fellas
like i've stated before, I'm going to do the flapper mod and than I'm gonna buy the PC III
to remap my bike after its all set and done than Ill check the FI system(maybe).

the reason why I asked its because on the carburated bikes you normally need to play around with the carbs and usually the jets. I figure maybe that would be a possibility for me to do this on a fuel injected bikes. i know it wasn't the smartest way to ask a Question but thanks for answering it and correcting me.
