Don't feel bad, I am also on a tight budget. I actually tried to tint my stock windscreen, but it is impossible to do it and and have it look clean. I bought a puig wind screen. It doesn't fit as nicely as a hotbodies windscreen though. I still like it- especially since it is a double bubble.

If you are on a tight budget then have your screen professionally painted. Plus some aftermarket wind screens FIT LIKE ****!!!!! I had my windscreen on my 98 cbr1100xx painted by COLORZONEDESIGNS.COM They did it for me at a reasonable price and it looked imaculate. Something else to think about.

My bike was all black and had the wind screen painted black to match. Think about it. Real world situation. HOW OFTEN ARE YOU REALLY TUCKED BEHIND THAT WINDSCREEN? So go ahead paint it. Paint it black or red something. You will be pleased.

Exactly what I was thinking. Whenever I was on the highway I would always go full tuck, or close to it. I want to be able to see what stones and other crap I might run over and try to avoid them.
Although if you paint, would it be possible to add some color tint to clear while retaining transparency?
