Yeah, your going to want to be careful here. There is a system to make sure people on here aren't taken advantage of. This forum is more of a community than just a forum. Getting back to the thread. I'd say if you can find a rolling chassis yzf450, do that mod. You could get a lot more use from a quad than a cart. Of course, this depends on your location and availability to trails and such. I have been contemplating an R1Raptor for a long time. I just haven't had the time to invest in building one right now. But I eventually will.


Either way, its going to be a lot fun for you.

Did you get the cart going I have built one with a 2004 rr motor if u have any questions I am more than happy to help sold mine last month for 7500 cash tons of fun be sure u have a proper roll cage lol

 

I have read and have handy literature regarding putting bike engines in carts etc. Specifically that bike engines are designed to lean into corners and when put into carts and slung into corners they suffer from oil starvation. (was reading on the f4i's). Addition of an oil can and electric scavenge pump will eliminate this and is 200 to 300 dollars, but cheaper than another engine.

 

i hope you can help im also willing to pay for this information.... can you give me any help on how you extend the harness for the cluster... And and what sprocket and chain i should op for and anyother help

 

So I'm building a 1000 cbr atv. I believe I have 2012 cbr motor and I have it in my 500 scrambler. I get spark, compression, and the fuel pump would kick on if hooked up but im not getting injection pulse from an 8 injectors. Does anyone know what's causing this?
